About us
The first Seend Beer Festival was held in 2001. It was organised by a group of people who played skittles for Seend Cleeve Sailing Club (most of us still do) and had a shared love of real ale.
In that first year we had ten casks of beer and there was no access to the garden.
We decided to do it the year after, but we knocked a hole in the wall to allow people to stretch their legs.
We have run it every year since, with an enforced year off for Covid.
We get a lot of help on the day and for the clear up on the day after, for which we are extremely grateful.
All profits go to the upkeep and running of Seend Community Centre.
The Beer Festival is not affilliated to CAMRA, but our good friends up the road run the CAMRA Devizes Beer Festival.
