What to expect
The beer festival is a family event, (beards and sandals are not compulsory) it is in a hall and a marque tent, with access to a grassed area and great views.
There will be approximately 32 casks of real ale and 8 ciders. There will also be a full bar available serving lager, wine, spirits and soft drinks.
No alcoholic drink may be brought into the festival.
There is seating in the hall around long tables.
Outside seating is limited, please bring your own chairs/rugs etc. for sitting outside.
Food is available.
Entry/Tickets
Entry is by ticket only, we only have a limited amount and when they're gone they're gone. We strongly advise you to buy your tickets well in advance to avoid disappointment.
If you bought tickets online, they will be scanned on entry. If you have people arriving in a group, you will need to present all the QR/bar codes for the group. If the group is not arriving at the same time it will be best to print out the QR codes and give them to each member of the group.
If you bought tickets/wrist bands from the local outlets before the festival please bring them with you. the wrist bands will be put on at the door.
Please be aware that you must be wearing a Beer Fest wrist-band to get served at the barrels.
Once you have a wrist band you can leave and re-enter the festival.
Glasses and tokens
Beer drinkers will receive a glass, a programme and some tokens* to get you started.
Tokens, are on sale in the hall. We like to keep things simple so one token will buy you one half pint of any beer or cider (tokens can not be used behind the hall bar - only at the beer and cider bar). Card payment is welcome.
Tokens cannot be exchanged for drinks at the hall bar.
Beers and cider
Beers and ciders are available at the beer and cider bar.
We are only open for one long session, so ** beers will sell out during the day**. Get in early to be sure you can taste the complete selection of approximately 30 fantastic real ales and a number of ciders (see The Beer page).
Other drinks
For the drivers (and other non beer drinkers) a full bar is open for a range of alternative drinks.
Food
To soak up the beer there’s Padfield’s Pig Roast and BBQ. (vegetarian options are available). You are welcome to bring you own food if you don't fancy pork in a bun.
Please feel free to bring your own food.

Dogs & children are welcome as long as you clean up after them ;-)
